As I sat on my bike at the doorsteps of my Boss's building, I came across two kids with contrasting behavior. I could relate to both of them, as 23 years back I used to behave the same way .
The first one was walking very silently, holding his father's hands, from far away it would look normal , but because of a short distance between us, i could clearly see the boy being almost dragged to the school bus.
During monsoons, I never used to go to school, but did not have any valid excuses to say at home. I think it has to do with the depressing weather. I still believe monsoons are seasons you should stay back at home.
The second kind on the other hand was wailing, while his mother gave a deaf ear to his stomach pain cries. I dont know whether he was giving an excuse or telling the truth, but like his mother my mom as well 95/100 times ignore my pleas, and used to shoo me away.
The media says the kids have changed, yes they have, as they are more tech savvy than we were or we are. But it happens with all generations. If we consider the child like qualities the two kids have restored my faith by giving the same excuses I used to give.
I can also say that for the time to come, kids of any generation early in the morning would behave the same way I described it in the incidence.
